Administration, John E. Hayden, lo-
cal allocation office for the Office
of Defense Transportation, was ad-
vised today from Washington. - '
“Such vehicles formerly were. ra-
tioned through the local ration
boards,” Mr. Hayden explained. "Now;
however, persons who wish to pur-
chase these special types of vehic-
les, must apply through the local al-
location offices of the Office of De-
fense Transportation, which is an
agency of the WPB."
He added, that army and navy re-
quirements are expected to absorb
