Musterole Works Easier Quicker
and Without the Blister
There's no sense in mixing a meia of
mustard flour and water when you can
easily relieve pain soreness or stiffness
with a little clean white Musterole.
Musterole is made of pure oil of mus-
tard and other helpful ingredients com-
bined in the form of a pleasant white
ointment.
It takes the place of out-of-
date mustard plasters and will not blister. I
Musterole usually gives prompt rehet

'Dear me!" exclaimed the muskrat
lady. "I wish I had known that."
"Do you want to play?" politely
asked Uncle Wiggily.
'Xh noT' Nurse Jane said. "But 1

must have It rigbt away. You see.
1 am making some pickled IoIIvdods
and without salt I cannot make them.
You are so fond of pickled lollypops

"Afterward will not do" said Nur6e
Jane. "I need the salt very soon. You
can nop to the store for it now and
go play with Grandpa Goosey after-
ward." Very well. Nurse Jane" answered
T'nc-le Wiggily. And I am very sorry
to say that be did not speak as po-
litely as he might have done. It is the
first time I have ever had to say that
a'out the bunny gentleman. But then
lowever let us wait and see what hap-
i ns as they say when they are telling
fuiry t retries.
Out of his hollow cturop bungalow
npped I'ncle Wiggily. His pink nose
..s hardly twinkling a bit and his
whiskers did not curl as they often
did when he was happy and jolly.
"Will iou brine me the salt?" called
i Nurse Jane as he went down the road.
"Yes." answered Uncle Wlggily. 'Til
. r.ng it to you as soon as I can."
Along hopped the rabbit gentleman
over the fields and through the woods. '
There was some snow under the trees
but he did not mind this as he had on
his rubber boots and his fur coat.

But Uncle Wiggily was not happy.
Th's is the first time I have ever had
to write a story like this about him. bat
T nave to tell the trntii.nb matter what
happens so I have to tell the good with
the bad.
"1 declare!" exclaimed the bunny un-
cle. "I don't see why Nurse Jane
couldn't have ordered salt last week.
I wnen sne Knew sne was going to need
I it for pickled lolly-pops. Now she
makes me get It when I ought to be
playing checkers "with Grandpa Goosey.
It's too bad. that's what I say! Too
l bad!"
j On and on he hopped and then be i
thought:
I "I've a good notion to go play check-
j ers first and take her the salt after- j
: ward even if she is going to make I
i pickled lollypops. I wonder if I'd 1
j better?"
J Then Uncle Wiggily thought how '
J kind Nurse Jane had always been to '
. him. getting his breakfast and bring- i
ing him nice things to eat when he was j
ill. and he said to himself: 1
"No. I'll first take the salt to her
even If I am late playing checkers." j
Pretty soon the rabbit gentleman I
i was almost at his bungalow with the
1 nag or salt to nis surprise he saw
a lot of smoke coming from the chim-
ney. and not only smoke but a blaz-.
. too. I
j "Why. that's funny!" cried Mr. Long-
ears. "Nurse Jane must have built a
f good fire to make the pickled lolly-
pops. Td better hurry with the salt'
I And just then the muskrat lady her- .
I s!f ran out of the hollow stump bun- I
( gnlow crying: f
' Oh. dear! It's happened' It's hap- '
pened! Just what I was always afraid i
. of Oh. dear!"
j "What? What is it?" Uncle Wiggily
wanted to know. "Are the pickled Iol- ;
lypops buruing?" .
"No but the chimney is on fire!" I
houted Nurse Jane. "I built a big
ulaze or. the open hearth to boil the
lollypop kettie over and the sparks
. fit-w up the chimney and set fire to It.
! '"'h. dear! "What shall I do? Call out the
(fire department? Send for Police Dog
l'e'oval:
"Do nothing of the sort'" said Uncle
iggily
in a kind calm and aulet
voice. "I myself will put out the chlm- ;
rev fire." '
"How?" asked Nurse Jane.
I With salt." answered the .'unn..
f'.iap. "If you sprinkle ealt on the
i blazlne wood in an open hearth or
en i'i a stove when the chimney Is
; fire the chimney blaze will go right I
; out. It is easy look!"
Then Uncle Wiggily. bopping into his
hollow stomp bungalow sprinkled on
the logs some salt from the bag. The
iog stopped blazing and there was a
new kind of smoke coming from th
hot salt and this smoke going up the :
chimney put out the fire In It. !
Then Uncle Wiggily was glad he hal s
come home with the salt instead of go-
ing first to Grandpa Goosey Gander's
or otherwise the hollow stump bunga-
low might have burned down. And the
bunny uncle said he was sorry he had
been a bit cross to Xurse Jane.
So this teaches us. if we tire willing
to learn that we never can tell what
may happen and if the fire shovel
doesn't burn the piano keys and make
them all black so they can't open the
front door. I'll tell you nest about
Uncle Wiggily and the big lollypop.
