and a half northeast of Albany the
Bmpire Gas and Fuel company has
spudded In for a snallow well on the
Rnnnella ranch in Shackelford county.
This same company is drilling a deep
test near this wall and In it a shal-
low sand was cased off at feel.
The sand has a production or SB bar-
rels daily. Gas lines have been laid
to both of these wells and gas burn
ing boilers installed. The drilling on
the deep test will probably be re-
sumed 'n a few days.

The officers and directors of the
El Paso Hot Springs Oil company held
a meeting in El Paso at noon Tues-
day and heard the geological report of
S. H. Worrell dean of the El Paso
school of mines on the company's
noiainga aoout paiomas hot springs in
Sierra county. New Mexico. A number
of residents of Palomas Hot Springs
who are members of the company
were at the meeting and at their spe-
cial request it was decided to make
doubly sure before taking further

Harrison well of C C Moorman and
associates located north and eaat of
the Roper well was drilled Into pro-
duction early yesterday with an es-
timated initial flow of 0Oe barrels
daily.
The Texas and Pacific Coal and
Oil company's No. 3 Butler located
in the northwest corner of the Butler
lease is setting six and five Inch
casing on tpp of the line. The Prairie
Oil and Gas company's No. 3 Kanea
came in with an Initial flow of 1M0
barrels and the same company's No.
I B J. S. Chrictmas camo In with an
initial flow of 106 barrels dally. All
these wells are within the proved
area and open no new territory.
Donley Plows 560 Barrels.
John Markham. jr. and the Tidal
Oil company No. 1 Danley. offsetting
the Colony school well on the west
is flowing tot barrels dally and it la
not yet drilled into the sand. The
Colony well of Kolsom at al ia grad-

Norwood. Just east of Eastland is

Parrack well. Is making headway on

120 feet for fuel and will skid the
rig and drill another hole as a deep
