My questionnaire covered a number of subjects, as you will
recall, and it was not possible for me to use the detail as
contained in this form.

Mr. T. N. Carswell
Public Accountant
Abilene, Texas
Suffice to say that I supported the Taft-Hartley Law from the
beginning, and expect to continue in it. I am not encouraged,
however, over the prospects of keeping the Law, but I do hope
we will be able to at least retain the features which have
proved so obviously successful in labor relations.
Your letter of March hth has just been received, in which
you enclose the questionnaire on the Taft-Hartley Law prepared
by the General Electric Company. I appreciate having your
further views as reflected by your answers to the questions.
With reference to the new Directory, it is expected to be off
the press in the very near future, and I shall be glad to
furnish you with one when they are available.
