People are prone to forget the real meaning of this
season. Too many of us associate Thanksgiving with a
big turkey dinner and nothing more. Have you ever
stopped to think how fortunate you are to be able to
enjoy that turkey such as you do?
Around that turkey dinner is the whole idea of the
day of Thanksgiving. Be Thankful that you are in a
land of abundance where freedom of the individual is
the first concern of everyone. Be thankful to your
Creator that you are not subjected to the tortures of
poverty and the evils of totalitarian government.
Yes, we have more to be thankful for in these United
States than any other land on the earth. Give thanks
for good health, prosperity and the Three Freedoms!
