The Tri Community Home
Demonstration Club met with
hostess, Mrs. Nelda Fields, on
April 23.
Members attending were
Mmes. Carol Rlake, Violet
Gann, Bobby Gilbert, Waunell
Goodwin, Vera Ann Havins,
Darlene Holcomb, Lois Fields,
Lois Liedtke and Loretta
Thomas. We were happy to have
three visitors, Mmes. Gerald
Piper, G. R. Shavor and J. D.
Slape.
It must be a secret where
Nelda Fields gets her ideas for
the games we play. She comes up
with some lu-lues. People would
be surprised to learn how little
farm women know about the ani-
mal and fowl families. (Keep it
up Nelda, we enjoy them).
Mrs. Gann and Mrs. Liedtke
gave a report on the council
meeting. Carol Blake and
Loretta Thomas were appointed
to assist with club yearbooks.
Plans for the club achievement
day were discussed.
Roll call was answered
with, “My sewing problem” and
believe you me, we had them.
Waunell Goodwin brought a
very interesting program on
“Window decor other than
drapes.” She discussed the
points of harmony, proportion,
balance, rhythm and emphasis.
Each room has apersonality.
