G. O. P. just ask him what the Harding adminis-
tration has accomplished. Don’t abuse the ad-
ministration but tell him you are seeking inform-
ation. You will note he will hesitate, then he
win scratch his head and think. And the more
he thinks the worse off he finds himself. Just
about that time this member of the G. O. P. will
discover to his embarrassment that he can’t recall
anything the Harding administration has done.
Possibly this puzzled citizen will try to excuse
himself by saying he doesn’t read much but that
he will post himself. Yet it is not his fault that
he can’t point out anything. There just “ain’t”
anything been done.
The score for Mr. Harding up to now is zero.
This was the administration that was to bring
us back to normalcy. Mr. Harding either coined a
new word or resurrected a forgotten one to tell
us what he would do for the country. Here are
a few of the things has was going to do:
It was going to give us a tariff that would re-
vive our languished manufacturing.
It was going to solve the tax problem.
It was going to increase production.
It was going to put agriculture on its feet.
It was going to save the merchant marine.
It was going to cure the unemployment evil.
How many of these things has it accom-
plished ?

The decision sought is that the men
