. A grass fire near the barn of
Mr. J. Kurtz on tha south side
Friday afternoon, caused an
alarm to be turned in and the
fire department turned out to
prevent the fire from catching
some of the adjacent buildings.
It was extinguished without ma-
terial damage.
Mrs. Wm. Lamb and little
daughter, Wileva, departed this
afternoon for a few days visit to
Mrs. Lamb's mother in Italy.

over Friday morning.
