Home thousands of pecple are being fooled today by oil and other stock
peddlers soiling stock which Um not the approval of the Capital Issues Com-
mittee.
Frequently those poopie offer to accept Liberty Bonds in exchange for
thelpleces of worthless paper.
To exchange pledges of citizenship for a false promise of a fortune is
the depth of foolishness and lack of patriotism.
When one of these "something for nothing men’ comes to you tell him-
. that if his stock is as good as he claims he would not have to peddle it
from door to door.
If the oil stock peddler Ulis you that you are helping the country by
buying his 3tock, decause you are aiding In the production of oil, tell him
that the big 911 Companies can be rel ed upon to keep up the country’s utl
