“That’s as far as it goes.”
David said he sells a lot of acid.
“On a good day, I can sell a whole
sheet in an hour or so," he said. "De-
Gohlke said that students who deal
drugs are punished worse than other
offenders.
“Not only do they get filed on
criminally, it ruins their academic
career,” he said. “They get sent to the
Dean of Students and.. .we are required
to take action.”
Frank said he doesn’t understand
why the penalties are so stiff.
“I mean, seriously, who in the hell
are we hurting beside, perhaps, our-
selves,” he said. “I don’t want to ruin
my career over some pot.
“But who is damaged by these
activities? As I see it, it’s a question of
personal choice.”
David agreed.

sage of the Klan.
Rev. Don Fielding of the Unitarian
UniversalistFellowship said his church
will be sponsoring a “gathering and
reception for peace and justice” from
3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 1111 Cordell.
“One of the tenets of our belief is
that everyone has inherent worth and
dignity,” Fielding said. “We are en-
couraging people to ignore the Klan.”
Fielding said there will be speakers
from different groups in Denton to
speak on peace. He also said they will
be singing peace songs and afterward
have refreshments and fellowship.
Bill McDaniel, a member of the
Baha’i Community of Denton, said
Baha’i members will sponsor a Cel-
ebration of Oneness of Humanity.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:15
p.m. Friday at the Civic Center, and
McDaniel said it will be a celebration
“in that we are all one body of human
kind in God’s eyes.”
He said that in order for racial prob-
lems to subside, the issue must be
confronted first.
“When you have a problem and
you don’t talk about it, it will never be
solved,” McDaniel said. “It’s on
everybody ’ s mind that racism can ’ t be
tolerated today because if s time for it
to heal, to end, to quit hating.”
