toll of the Oklahoma City explosion
rose to 36. The list of injured was
reported at 400.
U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno
announced that federal agencies have
collected money for a $2 million re-
ward for information leading to the
arrest and conviction of the bombers.
The FBI released composite
sketches of two men suspected of rent-
ing the truck that was loaded with
several thousand pounds of explosives
that caused the massive destruction.
Both are described as white males
of medium build. Suspect one is about
5 feet 11 inches tall and about 185
pounds with a light brown crew cut.
Suspect two is about 5 feet 10 inches
tall and about 175 pounds with brown
hair and a tattoo on his left arm.
“Both of these men should be con-
sidered armed and extremely danger-
ous. Citizens should not, therefore,
attempt to take any action against these
men,” said FBI Special Agent Weldon
Kennedy, who is in charge of the in-
vestigation in Oklahoma City.
He said a man described as a pos-
sible witness was apprehended in Lon-
don and flown back to the United States.
Italian police officials said his suit-
cases contained items that could be
used to make a bomb as well as three
jogging suits matching the descrip-
tions of those worn by the suspected
bombers. Stories and reactions from
the bombing are still coming in.
Tulsa senior Allison Jay said her
. aunt, Ann Berry, was on the way to the
federal building to get a social security
check for Jay’s grandmother when the
explosion occurred.
