Athens, Oct. 23.—A military revolt
has broken out in some of the pro-
vincial garrisons. The mutineers num-
bering about 200 and reported to be
under the leadership of the Royalist
General Metaxas, demand the resigna-
tion of the Revolutionary government
in order to insure the impartiality of
the coming elections.
The government under Col. Gonatas
is taking measures to put down the
revolt and claims to have the situa-
tion in hand.

“The Custard Cup,” which has been
pronounced by critics one of the
greatest humorous stories since “Mrs.
Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch,” will be!
shown at the Queen theatre for two
days beginning today. Produced by
Fox Film Corporation, the picture
tells the story of the joy to be found
in the little things of life. Mrs. Pen-
field, the part played by Mary Carr,
is a cheerful soul who looks after not
only her own brood of adopted waifs
but keps a kindly watch over all
of her neighbors in the tumbled down
sections where she lives. The story
is one of human kindness, of troubles
and worries and the sunshine that al-
ways can be found if one seeks it
rightly.
Other members of the cast are
Peggy Shaw, Myrta Bonillas, Miriam
