St. Louis, April 3.—Post-
office inspectors announced
that a partial check of the reg-
istered mail obtained by five
armed bandits here yesterday
showed that nine stolen pouch-
es contained at least $51,250 in
negotiable bonds. It is possible
that a complete check will
show that the robbers obtained
negotiable paper running into
six figures, it was said. No
clue to the identity of the
bandits has been obtained.
