The co-ed dorm is alight this month with plenty of
Christmas decorations to get TSU students into
the holiday spirit. Other events that may help
with that spirit are "A Tarleton Christmas," to
be held tonight at 6 p.m. and the Cross Timbers
Civic Chorale's production of "Messiah,"
scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the theater of
the Fine Arts Center. (Photo by Russell

'A Tarleton Christmas
for all TSU students
BY MARY ANN FOREMAN
TSU News Service
The sparkle of brightly col-
ored lights, the excited an-
ticipation of the holidays and
the warmth of fellowship are
all a part of a Tarleton
Christmas.
Planned for Thrusday, Dec. 6
at 6 p.m. the celebration of
Yuletide is being hosted by
Tarleton students with a very
special invitation extended to
members of the faculty and
staff and all the residents fo
Erath County.
A tradition in the making,
this year's Christmas party
has been expanded thanks to
elaborate preparations by all
areas of the Tarleton
community.
The lighting of Christmas
lights on an 18-foot blue spuce
will be only a part of the
special program. The Tarleton
Chamber Choir and University
Singers will perform along
with the TSU Brass Ensemble.
After performing several
special holiday selections the
groups will join with everyone
present for some old-fashioned
caroling of traditional
favorites.

previous Christmas parties,
