5e Molays Close Service
Sunday night at the First
Christian church the members
of theOrder of DeMolay closed
the regular church service, re-
ported Rev. S. O. Landis, min-
ister,-to The News this morn-
ing. Lights were turned out,
except those in the lobby, and
the interpolation service be-
gan. Claude Cook, master
councellor of the Lufkin chap-
ter, made a closing talk, pre-
summed to be ritual but that
part of the regular DeMolay
ceremony permissible in pub-
lic. Following the talk, Mr.
Cook called on the prelate of
the order, J. B. Cauthen, for
the closing prayer, which was
very impressive. The closing of
the service by the DeMolays
made a deep impression on
those present at the Christian
church last night.
Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Feagin,
accompanied by their daugh-
ter, Mrs. Ruh Arvin, and lit-
tle granddaughter,Mary Eliza-
beth, returned to their home
