I his spirit of brotherhood is one
that our forefathers exemplified
on the first Thanksgiving. And
from it we have established a
lasting sense of loyalty,
compassion and respect for one
another. For this, we are
truly fortunate.
Let’s take this holiday as a
time to reflect on all that we
have to treasure. And celebrate
Thanksgiving in the true tradition
of peace, unity and love.
A microwave cooking school will
be held tonight (Tuesday) at
Rodenbaugh TV & Appliance in
downtown Allen.
The school is free and open to
anyone interested in learning more
about microwave cooking. This
session will be conducted by a home
economist from Litton.
She will cook a turkey as one of the
projects and demonstrate how it is
prepared via microwave. A free
turkey will be given away to one of
the guests present.
The school will run from 7 p.m. to 9
p.m. at Rodenbaugh’s store down-
town. Owner Don Rodenbaugh asks
that reservations be made, if
possible, by calling 727-3454.
The best man was Johnnie
Wiseman and groomsmen were Brad
Williams, brother of the bride and
Mark Kerby.
