It will be noticed from the above statement that delinquent
subscribers paid slightly less than subscribers who paid their
subscriptions in full because on final collections after ascertaining
total amount of expenses and the amount of proceeds realized on
Generator ami equipments the committee collected .282 on the
dollar—being prorata on the entire amount of subscriptions. of
which however $85.00 remained unpaid, and subscribers paying
in full receiving rebate of a little more than ile on the dollar,
therefore paying nearly .29c on each dollar subseribed, while de-
linquent subscribers only paid a little more than 28c on the dol-
la r.
The committee tried to do its best n all matters and had the
decline in electrical machinery and equipments not been so great
then the percentage the committee could have rebated subscrib-
ers would have exceeded 95%.
