Circulating Library.
W. D. Ray of Kentucky, the gen-
ial representative of the Parmelee
Circulating Library is making good
progress in the way of establishing
a library in Hereford. We have ex-
amined into the merits of this library
financially and otherwise and we are
glad to aee the people of Hereford
taking hold of such an opportunity.
Nothing better determines the char-
acter of a people than the books
they read. For the small cost of
$5.00 for the first year and $1 for
each of the four following years, you
can secure any book published, sim-
ply by notifying the local librarian.
Each quarter a list of 50 books of
your own selection will be supplied,
at the end of which time these books
are taken up and a new set of 50
are supplied.
J. M. McGlothlin will be the lo-
cal librarian. Do not fail to sub-
scribe.
