the Stockholders and Direcrors
of the Pecos & Northern
Texas Railway Com-
pany.
Notice is her-by given that the
annual meeting of the stockholders
of the Pecos & Northern Texas
Railway Company will be held at
the General Offices of said company
in Amarillo Texas, on the first
Tuesday, being tbe first day of Octo-
ber, A. D. 1901, at the hour of 12 :00
noon, for the purpose of selecting a
board of directors for the ensuing
year and transacting such other bus-
iness as may come before said meet-
ing.
The annual meeting of the direct-
ors of said Company Will be held on
the same date, at the same place,
immediately after the meeting of
the stockholders.

Mrs. N. B. Bennett and children,
Luther and the Misses Emma and
Sallie, left on last Tuesday for
Santa Anna, Cal., where they will
make their future home. Rev. Ben-
nett, it will be remembered, went to
California some months ago in
search of health and having found
the needed climate, has taken his
family with him. Brother Bennett
and each member of his family
has made many warm friends in
Hereford during their resideiice
here who regret to see them leave
us. We hope to to see them all
again with us.
