A New Bond Paper. 25 Percent Cotton Content.
For the first time in the history of paper
making, a superlatively fine sheet of Bond Paper
has been made, in the South, from fibres repre-
senting the South’s greatest resourses—its cot-
ton and its timber. Fine Southern materials have
been combined to produce a sheet of wide utility.
Now a new and volume use for cotton has
been developed. For Cotton Content Bond is an
inexpensive bond paper that can serve a multitude
of uses in any office—and it’s 25 percent cotton.
Gov. R. S. Sterling has signed the
bill providing relief for Brazoria and
Needville schools. The bill providing
aid for West Columbia has not yet
been signed, but is before the gov-
ernor.
Three bills were introduced in the
senate where they were favorably
received but met rather strung oppo-
sition in the house.

If Cotton Content Bond is recommended by
printers, advertising agencies and others allied
with the graphic arts industry it is certain to
sweep into extensive useage, wih a consequent
favorable reaction on the price of the South’s
largest commodity—a condition that wvill quickly
be reflected to the cotton farmer and to business
as a whole throughout the South and nation.

At A Considerable Saving.
You'll expect Cotton Content Bond to be an
expensive sheet, after you’ve examined it and
compared it with other bond paper. But its cost
is actualy no more than a No. 1 quality sulphite!
It’s fine enough for letterheads and mailings; it’s
inexpensive enough for forms, invoices and the
dozen and one other uses of bond paper.
A few days with the mower now
will save a lot of trouble and expense
next year. The weeds are full of seed
and should be cut now to prevent:
them from maturing. If left alone,
within a couple of weeks there will
ripen enough to infest the entire,
town in another season. We hope
the council will cut the present weed
crop on all the vacant lots.
