On Tuesday. September 7,
members of Alpha Kappa Rho
met for an informal gathering at
the home of Linda Schneider.
The thirteen members that
were present. set about the task
of making and decorating their
program books. The theme for
this year’s book is "Follow The
Rainbow Road." The covers are
a bright yellow background with
the picture being a rainbow and
pot of gold scene. The picture
was original sketched by Linda
McCabe. Each member painted
their own sketch with Artex
Mrs. Jack Q. Kimball of this
city announces the engagement
and forthcoming marriage of her
daughter, Dru Ann, to James
Michael Hardman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. James W. Hardman of
Houston, Texas. Miss Kimball is
the daughter of the late Col. Jack
Q. Kimball, O,S.A.F.
The bride is a 1972 graduate of
Yoakum High School and
attended Sam Houston State
University in Huntsville. She is
employed at Weingarten's in
