at Victoria College June 5.
The ceremony was for per-
sons who received their GED
or CBHSD any time from June
1, 1993-May, 1994 through

Adult Learning Center or
Golden Industry Private Indus-
try Council.
Guest speaker was Dr.
Guadalupe Quintanilla of
Houston, who dropped out of
school at 13 and returned later
to earn a bachelor's degree in
biology, a master's in Spanish
literature and a doctorate in
education. She is currently a
professor and administrator at
the University of Houston.
