The Brunswick Tire is a combi-
nation of acknowledged features—
plus Brunswick standards of manu-
facture.
The result is a super-tire, the like
of which you have never known be-
fore. The kind of a tire you will
gladly join in welcoming.
Yet Brunswicks cost no more
than like-type tires.
Try ONE Brunswick. We prom-
ise a surprise. And we feel certain
that you will want ALL Bruns-
wicks.
Then good tires will have a new
meaning to you.

health. My
advice to women who suffer is to give
‘Favorite Prescription’ a trial,- it will
surely help them.”—Mrs. E. L. Brown,
2414 Freeman St.
San Antonio, Texas:—“After a serious
illness, when my strength seemed as
though it would not come back to me,
I decided to try Dr. Pierce’s Favorite
Prescription as a tonic. I had seen it
advertised and recommended so highly
that I felt I could not go far astray.
This medicine did all for me that could
be desired. It restored me to perfect
health and strength in a comparatively
short time and I am just as strong and
well as can be. ‘Favorite Prescription’
is a splendid tonic and builder for women
and it is a pleasure to me to recommend
it.”—Mrs. Hettie McLane, 308 Bowie
St.
Houston, Texas:—“When I had be-
come all run-down, weak and nervous
and was feeling miserable all the time I
took Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescription.
It was only necessary for me to take two
bottles to build me up in health and
strength. ‘Favorite Prescription’ is an
excellent tonic for women.”—Mrs. F, E.

Sir
A number of real sportsmen of
the city decided a few days ago
that events in the realm of ,sport
had lain dormant long enough
and decided to promote an old-
fashioned badger fight, in the ev-
ent that a fighting badger could
be found. After a diligent search
of the surrounding woods one
was trapped and held for the oc-
casion. The next requisite for a
good fight is a good fighting bull
dog. The right dog was found,
although the owner seemed some-
what indisposed as to allowing
his valuable dog to go into a bat-
tle royal of this kind, but after

Mr. Wilson was born in the city
of Adamsville, McNary county,
■ Tennessee, and moved with his
parents to Arkansas in the same
year, at which place he resided
until he reached the age of 21
years. He came to Texas in 1892
and located near Kentucky town
on the Tom Everheart farm and
later moved to Pink Hill, west of
Bells, where he has resided since
with the exception of the six
years he lived in Bells where he
was the manager of the Bells Al-
liance Mercantile Company, one
of the strongest and largest firms
in North Texas. The business was
a grand success in every sense of
the word during his administra-
tion, but his longing for the farm
life caused him to resign and
move back to his farm.
Mr. Wilson was married to
Miss Fratilia Stewart of the Pink
Hill community in 1894 and to
them were born six children of
which four still survive and are
among the most successful peo-
ple of Grayson county.
Mr. Wilson seeks this office
on the merits of being competent
to fill the requirements and we
will not hesitate in saying that we
believe that if he is elected, he
will make us one of the best Com-

Dollars and Cents
Counting it only from dollars

cold cost you? A man may not
always stop work when he has a
cold, but perhaps it would be bet-

days to get completely rid of a

in every great tire factory, the
chief question is: “How much can
we give for the money?” And the
product % depends_on the policy
adopted. J
Every man who has become ac-
quainted with Brunswick Tires
knows that Brunswick standards
are again evident. This famous con-
cern—noted as a leader in every
line it entered since 1845 •— has once
more proved that its policy is right.
A perfect tire is simply a matter
of knowledge and standards and
skill. No secrets nor patents pre-
vent making an ideal tire.
But standards come first. For in
tire making there is vast room for
skimping, for subtle economies, for
hidden shortcomings. Makers with-
out the highest standards don’t
build high-grade tires.
The Brunswick organization of
tire makers includes a brilliant staff
of technical experts. Not a man
some persuasion his sporting in-
stinct over-ruled his wisdom and
his permission was given.
Quite a crowd gathered for the
event Wednesday night which
was held as per schedule. Both
animals were eager for the fray,
were forced to be held apart by
heavy chains while the prepara-
tions were being made. The
promoters of the sport were for-
tunate in securing the service of
Al Nelson, of Georgia, who is
employed by E. E. Blocker Cotton
Co., who volunteered to spring
the trap which held the animals
apart. He proved himself adept
in the art and managed to escape
any serious injury from the com-
batants. Although the badger
was outweighed we are informed
that it put up a most creditable
fight.—Honey Grove Citizen.
Rub-my-tism is a great pain
killer. It relieves pain and sore-
ness caused by Rheumatism,
Neuralgia, Sprains, etc.
Chronic Constipation
There are people who never
have a movement of the bowels
without it is produced by a ca-
thartic. Most of them have
brought that condition on them-
selves by the use of mineral
waters and strong cathartics
that take too much water out of
the system and aggravate the
disease they are meant to relieve.
A mild laxative tonic like Cham-
berlain’s Tablets affords a gentle
movement of the bowels that
you hardly realize has been pro-
duced by a medicine, and their
use is not so likely to be followed

For the Children
Too much care cannot be exer-
cised in selecting a cough medi-
cine for children. It should be
pleasant to take, contain no harm-
ful drug and most effectual in
curing their coughs and colds.
Long experience has shown that
Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy
meets these conditions. It
is a favorite with many moth-
