for the domestic oil and coal in-
dustries this week stepped up the
tempo of their attack on foreign
oil imports.
Most vocal was Russell Brown,
general counsel for the Independ-
ent Petroleum Assn, of America
(IPAA) who called for quotas re-
stricting imports to 10 per cent of
domestic demand.
Brown said that if imports con-

ing burns have been produced,
along with some burns approach-
ing the third-degree variety, with
• the flesh practically charred.

Sanger Chooses
Circus Queen
Special to the Record-Chronicle
SANGER - Elaine Baker will
represent Sanger at the April cor-
onation of the Gainesville Circus
Queen.
Mias Baker, chosen by the high
school, will be present during the
Community Circus performance
while the queen is crowned. A cor-
onation ball will follow.
The queen is chosen from Gaines-
ville contestants. Nearby towns
and cities are invited to send roy-
alty for the court.
