Of course the telephone is noth-
ing new to Argyle. Before Thweatt
started his revisions there were
already six telephones in good
working order and they could be
used at anytime from about 8
a m. to 6 p. m.
The old switchboard was located
in a filling station which closed
at night. But now Thweatt has
insUlled a practically new switch-
board purchased from a town in
Grayson County, in his home and,
and has added about 40 phones to
the system.
