Class of 1962, lives in Cape Coral,
Florida with two of her four children and
new daughter-in-law. Her parents were
the late Richard and Ruth Langrill.

CHARLES E. HINSON, Class of Her sister, Belva Belk Dorcas (also a

for Altura. They have three daughters,
Shanna, 22; Brandy, 21, and Ashley, 9.
J.M. and Barbara’s son, Darren, also
lives here and coaches and teaches at
Levelland High. His wife, Angela, is an
attorney and they have two daughters,
Alexandria, 3 and Maci. 2.
BOBBY REID HANSEN graduated
with the Class of 1955. She then went to
the John Roberi Powers Modeling
School in Denver. CO. She worked in
the school and modeled for the next four
years when she met her first husband
Royce Johnson, who passed away. They
had two sons and a daughter. In 1973
she met and married Bob Hansen, who
gave her five beautiful stepchildren.
They have 17 grandchildren ranging in
ages from 22 to 1 month. She lived in
California from I960 to 1998 when they
moved back to Levelland. She stays at
home with her mother and enjoys arts
and crafts. Her parents are Bob and
Louise Reid, who lived in Abernathy for
19 years and have lived in Levelland for
47 years She is pictured with her
grandchildren. Vanessa and Alex.
1961, attended SPC until he joined the LHS graduate) owns the old homestead
Texas National Guard. He worked for 12 miles out of Levelland. She and her
GTE, retiring after 30 years. He and his husband live in Lubbock. Her favorite
wife, Kathy, have three daughters and teacher was Mrs. Birtciel who taught
one son. They live in Early and Charles English and Journalism and was in
works for Comanche County Telephone charge of the school newspaper.

PAUL BRUCE HOMER, Class of
1957, lives in Ridgecrest, CA. He
attended school in Levelland for 10
years but graduated from Lovington,
N.M. An older brother, Hershel H.
Homer and Glenda E. Homer Miller,
both graduated from LHS. He married
Patricia Ann Bevers of Lovington and
they have one daughter, two sons and
four grandchildren. He earned a
Bachelor of Science cum laude in
Physics from New Mexico Institute of
Mining and Technology and two master
of science degrees, one in engineering
form the University of California at Los
Angeles and one in management from
the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. He was employed as an
engineer and physicist at the Naval
Weapons Center at China Lake, CA for
35 years. This is a major research and
development activity of the Department
of Defense. He worked in many
positions in the laboratory and in all
levels of supervision. At his retirement
in March, 1997, as a member of the
Senior Executive Service, he was the
Director of Weapons Research and
Development.

CLETA BELK SIRENO is a
member of the Class of 1962. She
married Joe Sireno of Galveston in June
of 1965. They have three children,
Michael, Terri and Angela, four
grandchildren, Abbey (12), Jacob (7),
Erin (6), and Ty (8 months). Cleta has
been in journalism. She retired from the
Galveston Daily News after 23 years.
Her last position was “Lifestyle Editor".
After that, she took a position as Public
Relations Manager for St. Mary’s
Hospital for five years. She left there in
1995 and is currently an Administrative
Assistant at the William Temple
Episcopal Center. She is responsible for
two newsletters as well as other duties.
Her husband, Joe, is retired from the
University of Texas Medical Branch.
She would like to retire in a few more
