Graveside services for Frances
Alfred, 68, of Tyler, TX, were held
at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at
Memorial Park Cemetery in Tyler.
Rev. Mike Wyatt, officiated the
services.
Burial followed in the Memo-
rial Park under the direction of Ty-
ler Memorial Funeral Home of Ty-
ler, TX.
She died Tuesday, Aug. 8,
2000, at a local hospital.
She was bom Oct. 23, 1931 in
Corsicana, TX. She lived in Tyler
since 1982. She was formerly of
Levelland, TX. She was a member
of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was a retired nurse.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Richard Alfred, in
1991.
Survivors include one son, Ron
Alfred of Houston; two sisters, Jo
Black of Tyler, TX, and Ruth Smith
of Tyler, TX.
