FORT WORTH - Joe Conrad,
NTSC student, has issued a warn-
ing to other amateurs entered in
the 8th annual Colonial Invitation-
al that he’ll be tough to beat out
for low amateur honors.
The tourney opens Thursday.
Conrad toured the long-playing
layout's 7,035 yards Monday in 80
strokes, one under par to gain co-
leadership in the practice-round
