As the official sales figures keep rolling in, they keep telling
the same positive story: Again in 1953, for the twelfth
straight production year, truck buyers show a clear-cut and
decisive preference for Chevrolet trucks.,
if you're a truck user, this fact is mighty important to you.
Why? Well, as you know, trucks are built and bought for
just one reason — to do a job- So isn't it logical then that
since Chevrolet trucks outsell all others, they mtut do a
better job at lower cost?

Romans 12:1-2—“I appeal to
you therefor*, brethren, by the
mercies of God, to present
your- bodies ss a living sacri-
fice, holy and acceptable to
God, which is your spiritual
worship. Do not be conform-
ed to this world, but be trans-
formed by the renewal of your
mind, that you may prove
what is the will of God, what
is good and acceptable and
perfect.”
This passage pinpoints for
me the necessity of living one’s
religion. It also encourages
one to recognize that by a con-
stant turning of one's mind to
an understanding of the will of
God, a new vitality of reli-
gious life and understanding
can be achieved. The passage
is one of challenge, of action
and of hope.

Some people say. “Live right
today, and don't be concerned
about the future.” The Lord
said, “We have the word ote
prophecy made more sure,
whereunto ye do well that ye
take heed, as unto a lamp shin-
ing in a dark place . .
H Peter 1 19. Again he said,
“Set your hope perfectly on the
grace that is to be brought untou
you at the revelation of Jesus
Christ. I Peter 1:13.
Future things — not learned
from a “fortune teller," which
God hates and warns against in
His word, but things written in
the Word of God for our consola-
tion and fore warning. In the
first chapter of the great book
of Revelation, Jesus said, “Bles
sed is he that readeth, and they
that hear the words of the pro
phccy, and keep the things that
are written therein, for the time
is at hand ” Rev. 1:3. Some peo-
ple ridicule the teaching of
prophecy. They call you a "pes-
simist"-or an “alarmist." See
what the Lord inspires Peter to
say about them in II Peter 3:1 7.
