4H Rally Set
For Friday In
Lowry Woods
The annual Denton County 4 H
Rally will be held for all 4-H duh
members and 4-H leaders Friday
- in Lowry Woods on the TSCW
campus.
Registration for the rally will be-
gin at 1:30 p.m. Activities include
crafts ciasses, swimming, a picnic
supper and ceremonial.
1 . 4-H and Home Demonstration fa-
milies are invited to come at 5:30
p.m. for a picnic supper and an
evening of recreation. They are
requested to bring a picnic basket,
glasses and cutlery.
The Home Demonstratin Coun-
cil voted at its July Meeting to have
a county-wide picnic supper on the
I rally day and appointed Mrs. W.
I W. Marshall chairman of the plan-
ning committee.
In connection with the rally, a
crafts training school was conduct-
ed Monday by Mrs. Betty Duncan,
assistant county home demonstra-
tion agent. Attending this school
were Millard Taft Smith, Argyle;
Nancy MeGalliard, Argyle.
