Society provides public
education directed at preven-
tion and early detection of
cancer, service and
rehabilitation for cancer pa-
tients and families, and
grants for cancer research
Last year in Deaf Smith
County. $6,994 was raised for
the Cancer Society Dollars
spent in the community last
year include $17,105 for
public education including
literature distributed, ex-
hibits. school programs. and
public education film presen-
tations

the scene of a recent pre-
nuptial shower honoring Lori
Elliott, bride-elect of Doug
Walterscheid.

honoree; her mother, Mrs
