The Cowboys get-tough policy has
propelled them to the top of the Na-
tional Conference Eastern Division
with a 6-2 record.
Landry said the hard part is ahead
for the Cowboys.
"We’ll have to play the best game
we can to beat the teams we have on
our schedule," said Landry
The Cowboys have a salty three-
game stretch in which they play St.
Louis on Monday night Nov. 4, travel
to Washington the following Sunday
and then host the impressive Chicago
Bears.
"If we win two of the three we
would be having great success
because all those games are subject
to losses if we don’t play at a top
level,” said Landry.
"St. Louis has been down but we re
looking for them to rebound against
us," said Landry. “St. Louis has as
much potential as anybody in the
league. They just aren't scoring and
I hope that continues one more week
”I've never gone to St. Louis when
it was an easy game.”
The Cowboys were rated field goal
favorites over the Cardinals. The
Cowboys have won three straight
games in Busch Stadium.
