Tom Johnson has filed for
place four on the Allen City
Council.
Johnson, who served as Allen
Sports Association soccer com-
missioner for nine months, is a
member of the Allen Lions
Club.
He says his reason for runn-
ing is that he thinks the town
needs fresh ideas from people
who have a different reference
point.
“I don’t think anything
positive has been happening in
the last 2%2 years,” he says.
If elected, he pledges to work
to see the city’s bidding process
is revamped and to see the city
engage in public relations work.
He says he would also like to
see a community watch pro-
gram instituted, “It’s time we
had one.”
