f OY AL Denton football fans who
“ usually make token wagers had
better go a -bit slow this week in
putting their money on the line in
the Denton-Paris game—this tilt
has more angles than that architec-
tural monstrosity, the Denton court
house. First there is the question
of whether the Brones will shoot
the works in trying to stop .the
Wildcats. With Highland Park on
deck, will Denton coaches want to
risk crippling the team by instruct-
ing the Brones to rough it up?
Will the boys themselves be men-
tally ready? Will they benefit from
being the home team now that the
tilt is set for Eagle Stadium, a field
new to them?
Then there is Paris. Will the
Wildcats try to build a repu-
tation by attempting to run
over the Brones? Or will they
take It easy and rest on their
laurels while waiting to resume
district competition next week?
If we knew the answer to all
these questions, we might be
willing tu make odds, but as it
is, we won't go any farther than
to predict Paris will win.

With the two toughest contests
of the entire season on tap for this
Friday and next, the Denton Bron-

Most of the injuries which have
kept the Broncos from rounding
into top shape are now gone Only
two members of the entire squad
are ailing, but both are first string
