COOL COMFORT—Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Taylor try the
backyard of their home at 219 Jagoe as a remdy during
hot weather. Tall, cool drinks also help. Mrs. Taylor,
who has both beginner and adult speech classes during
the fall and winter months, is a strong advocate of
• rest and relaxation for keeping cool. Dr. Taylor seldom

The brief showers and cool breez-
es that blessed Denton last week
were only a reminder that weather
is not always so uncomfortable.
There are still about two months
remaining to worry about how to
keep cool.
• Nearly everyone has at least
one remedy for hot weather ill-
ness — anything from keeping gir-
dles in the deep-freeze to moving
to Alsska.

briefest of sun-dresses seem to be
