If you select your men before

would take otherwise.

In the precinct conventions
Saturday the delegates to the
county convention ought to be
instructed as to whether the
servants of the people should
obey the de man ds of the people
or whether our representatives
should each be left to do as he
pleases after accepting a nomi-
nation on a platform. We believe
this is a government of the people
and that the people ought to rule.
But if the people in their wisdom
decide to let their represent-
atives each one obey the dic-
tates of his conscience in pref-
erence to obeying platform de-
mands, then we see no further
use for platforms and the pre-
cinct conventions should so in-
struct their delegates. For one,
this editor believes implicitly in
representatives obeying the de-
mands of thir constituents. .

Take Good Care of What You Spend
Your Life to Barn
Th a man who labors six days in the week for a living
should make an effort to save a part of his earning* for
that time in the future when Age shall reduce his earn-
ing capacity.
The man with a bank account is in a position to do
this, for this plan of setting aside a regular amount
each month or week from the salary, is the ideal method
of saving money. Your deposit will be welcomed at
