The Northeast Texas Fair, an
enterprise very much to the
credit of our neighboring little
city of Pittsburg, closed last
Saturday' after another eminent-
ly successful season. We say
successful, advisedly. Had the
receipts of this fair been in-
sufficient to meet current ex-
penses and it became necessary
for the citizens of Camp county
to go down into their pockets
and supplement the expense fund
with a private contribution, the
fair would still have been one
of the biggest assets of the city
and county. But such was not
