next Monday, Trades Day, wher
he extends a cordial invitatiol
-o the people of Betti and sur-

The opening of this store wil
give Bettie one of the largest
general merchandise storeis ii
Upshur County. Something
that Bettie has needed for
some time, as heretofore then
was- some lines that could not
be secured in Bettie.
Besides this is only one of th*
four of Mr. Mings’ Upshur
County general merchandise
stores as he has one in Hawkins
one in Big Sandy and one in
Pritchett and now this one in
Bettie to make the TouYTh. He
is one of the pioneer citizens ot
Upshur county, a gentk man of
the old school, well known for
his honesty and integrity
through out Upshur and adin -
ent counties, and will no doubt
command a good trade in his
most recent acquisition to-his
string of stores.
Mr. D. A. Taylor, on? of Bet-
tie’S most popular young men.,
well and favorablv known, will
be his manager here, a selection
that would have been hard to
beat. —__
