o have; charge of the Mesh- e
Longview Times-Clarion.
We learned ..this morning that
F. L. Evers, who lives in the
northeastern part of Longview
had left his home Sunday about
noon to bring his son, D. H.
Evers, to T. & P. train No. 25.,
so that he could return to Tyler
where he was attending school.
He thought that the bey had
missed the train and would go
no No. 5, which leaves Long-
view Junction after 4 o'clock, go-
ing west. We learned today
that the boy left on No 25. An-
other one of the boys told us -
that he did not see his father
c ter he left uptown to gn to the ,
Junction. He said that parties
said that they had seen him at
the Junction at 3:30 in the after-
noon.
Mr. Evers is 46 years old and
was reared in Greegg and Up-
shur Counties and has a wife
and 7 children. He is of dark
complexion, 5 feet 10 inches
high, weighs .about 160 founds, '
his high forehead, wore a blue
serge suit, brown hat and broad
toe button shoes.
