State vs. Dr. W. Hyde, charged
with murder, growing out of the
killing of Dick Atkinson at Big
Sandy on the 19th. of April, af-
ter being out 24 hours on the
case, were called before the
court Friday afternoon, and
asked what the chances were for
them to agree. They, said thru
thejr foreman that there had
been no change since 9 o'clock
Fr'day morning, and that they
didn’t think there was any
chance for* them to get together.
Asked how they stood, they said
nine to three, and it is under-
stood the nine were for ac-
quital.
Judge Warren after asking
each individual juror if that was
his opinion, that they cop
