Monday afternoon at the church
at which time the lesson on “One
God, One Brotherhood” was discuss-
ed by Mrs. Joe Peters, leader

rial Day. The program was also
planned for the Legion birthday to

Has Business
; Session Recently
The Bethesda W H. D Club met
recently in the home of Mrs. B B
Summerlin with the president pre-
siding. Final plans were made for
the supper. which is to be held on
March 15 at the schbol.
Reports were given from each
committee, and members turned in
dues on the T. H. D. A. fund.
Refreshments were served to 12
members and one visitor. Miss Vera
Mae Jewitt, and a new member,
Mrs G. E Statham.

met Tuesday evening in the Legion
Hall for the regular business mset-

Bowman, state department chair-
man of child welfare and educator
of war orphans, Mrs. Bowman stat-
ed that Texas had received the as-
signment of French War Orphans
in Need, and each district has been
assigned a French child. ,
