The house, now the property of
the city of Denison, has been repaint-
ad and repaired for Eisenhower’s re-
turn on April 20. It is being con-
verted into a shrine by Denison cit-
izens to perpetuate the memory of
the general who led the Allied
armies to victory in Europe.
General Eisenhower’s visit to Den-
ison was arranged by Speaker Sam
Rayburn. A \38-man. Chamber of
Commerce appointed committee
headed by Ralph A. Porter virtually
had completed plans for the program
today.
Eisenhower will be accompanied to

went to church on Easter Sunday
