4 Time For Hunting Waterfowl

Chapter, NSA. Enrollment is not
limited to NSA members nor is
it necessary for those who regis-
ter to take the CPS exam.
Three semester hours of col-
lege credit will be given for this
course each semester. Business
administration, human relations,
and business law will be offered
in the fall with secretarial ac-
counting, secretarial procedures,
and secretarial skills to be offered
in the spring.
Instructors include Mrs. Doreen
Sauls, W. L. Gregory, Billy
Walker, and Kenneth Scheffler,
Except for the special leal
hunting season September 22-30,
employees who want ducks and
cools can start banging away
before sunrise November 18 and
can continue through sunset
January 6.
Geese and brant season will
last from October 24 through
January 6.
The mourning dove season in
the North Zone began today at
1 p.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.,

retaries review course to be of-
fered at Lee College this year.
The special secretarial course,
designed as a review for the CPS
examination, is being held in co-
operation with the National Sec-
retaries Association and the
college.
Anyone who performs secre-
tarial or stenographic work is
eligible for the course, according
to Mrs. Maudie Pack, Specialties,
chairman of the public relations

TV group.

toured the Butyl Finishing Build-
ing, the Polyolefin Lab, and the
POU control room.

The cost per semester is
S21.50. Registration will be held
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 4 to
8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thurs-
day, September 13 and 14. Reg-
istration will count as the first
session.
The second session, September
19, and all other sessions will be •
held in Room WR115 from 6:30
to 9:30 p.m. A permit from the
registrar and a packet must be
obtained at Lee College anytime
prior to registration. This may
be obtained through a letter, tele-
phone call or visit. An approved
course list or a waiver on an
approved course list also must be
obtained from the registrar.

October 29. Hunters no longer
need retain one fully-feathered
wing on doves except during the
concurrent while-winged and
mourning dove season along the
Rio Grande.
Hunters are cautioned, how-
ever, that a fully-feathered wing
must be retained on all waterfowl
killed in Texas.
A Texas Hunting Guide can
be obtained free from any place
where hunting licenses are sold.
A press conference and lour
for news media representatives
was held on Wednesday of last
week by Enjay personnel.
Enjay officials interviewed by
reporters at the press conference
were Executive Vice President
T. J. Innes, Jr., from New York,
and Baytown Plant Manager
M. E. Gillis.
