If you are suffering from troubles
that sometimes follow child-birth bear
in mind that Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vege-

It is especially adapted to correct such
troubles.
The letters we publish ought to con-

friends or neighbors — they know its
worth. You will, too, if you give it a

F. H. BARLOW, Director
In my opinion the most constructive
thing the Chamber of Commerce, and
citizens of Cleburne and Johnson
county can do for their town and
county, and for themselves individual-
ly in 1922, is to pull together for ONE
twelve months. If every corporation,
firm and individual were for every
corporation, firm and individual be
cause they are in business, because
titey are a citizen of MY TOWN or
MY COUNTY, we would be able to
aecomplish much that heretofore, we
thought impossible, and without this
kind of co-operation we will never be
able to do what we are capable of
doing; if we cannot be for this or that
enterprise for no reason except that
it is for the advancement of Cleburne
and Johnson county we will fail to
the same extent that we fail to get
100 ner . at co-operation.
Our town Imas everything in the way
of vital, substantial improvements
that make for better health and Hy-
ing conditions, that any town of like
size in this part of the country can
boast of, such as fine schools, an ade-
quate and efficient water works, good
sewer system, etc., but we are fur
behind in surface improvements such
as paving and parks. In 1922 we
should make our town more attrac-
tive, this is a fine advertisement,
espeeialy with strangers.

HENRY P. LICHTE, Director
With the support and co-operation
of all the people Cleburne will march
forward to greater aecomplishments.
The past is behind us, u closed book,
the future is open before us, and will
be just what we make it. It is up tu
us, you and 1, to make Cleburne a
better town to live in mid work in.
The Chamber of Commerce is the
organization through which we can
hep our town, mid thereby help each
other. No town has ever achieved
greatness without a Chamber of Com-
merce or some similar organization to
direct and eryatalize public sentiment.
That is the reason we must mid will
go on with tin* Chamber of Commerce
work, not to benefit any small or large
class of Cleburne citizeus, but to help
the whole town and every person in
it. To accomplish the greatest good
for Cleburne everybody ought to be
long to the Chamber of Commerce.
Those that cannot carry a member
ship can still do a great deal of good
by taking a part in the meetings and
deliberations of the different Clram
ber of Commeree activities.
A renewal drive for memberships is
being made now, and if you believe
in tire future of our town come in
mid be one of us, we need you, and
the town needs you.
HENRY P. LICHTE,
W. S. WHALEY, Director
It goes without saying, that no city,
town, community, or any enterprise
ean lie suci essfully operated without
the proper organization. This organ
izatiou is the eulmination of the un-
tiring and continued efforts of every
individual connected therewitit.
The name given to most every or-
ganization in a eity or town, is cum
mercial club or chamber of commeree.
Ours is chamber of commeree, so it
is, we are depending upon the indi-
vidual efforts of every citizen of tie
burne to make our Chamber of Com-
merce a suecess this year.
Our sueeess as individuals depends
largely upon the success of the city
or community in which we live, there-
fore, it behooves every one to spare
