Its hearings yesterday and last after-
noon reached decisions on must of the
matters which, had been konsidered
during the past several days.
On the proposed order to make the
Southern Kansas Railway company of
Texas, Pecos and Northern Texas and
Recos-Red River railways subject to
one line rates, was issued, and one
line rates will apply as these roads
are under the same management.
The commission ordered the Inter-
national and Great Northern railway
to put on a double daily passenger ser-
vice from Han Antonio to Laredo, that
is, an additional passenger train is to
be put on. The railroad company
wanted to put on an additional mixed
train, but the order of the commission
provides for an additional passenger
train.

The state department of Insurance
yesterday afternoon granted a permit
to do business in Texas to the South-
ern Fire Insurance company of Lynch-
burg, Va. This is a now company for

has a capital stock of $200,000 paid in

report of the company shows there is
