Dear r. kempner:
We are writing to introduce our Galleries with the thought that
you may be planning to honor a member of your firm, or business
associate, with portraiture. After thirty-six years on the Sixth
Floor of Grand Central Station, we are now in new quarters in
the Biltmore hotel. Ours is a non-profit organization and the
Officers and Trus tees listed above serve without remuneration.
Over tne years we nave specialized in portraiture, especially
Board boom and institutional portraits, and forty leading American
portrait painters are members of our galleries. Portraits recently
completed are: Mr. Cloud ampler, by Albert K. Murray; honorable
Winthrop V. .adrici, by Paul Trebilcock; iir. henry S. Wingate, by
William o. Draper; mr. Thomas E. Dewey, by Molly Guion; and many
others.
If you are considering portraiture, we would be very happy to
submit photographs of portraits recently completed, price range,
and biographical information. portraits may be done from photo-
graphs if sittings are not possible. In the event that you will
be in New York in tne near future, I shall be glad to personally
escort you through our portrait gallery to see the work of the
various portrait painters now on exhibition.
May we hear from you?
Sinceirely yoiws,
