Spanish books
are added
Recently added to the
bookshelves at the Mecedes
Memorial Library are two new
sets of books in the Spanish
language, says Librarian Mrs.
Rose Parker.
“We now have a 10
volume encyclopedia and a
seven volume set of bio-
graphies in Spanish,” reports
Mrs. Parker. “We hope
people will use these and
many other recent additions
to the library,” she adds.

for the U.S. Seventh Fleet;
on-call to project combined
air-ground forces ashore, if
required.
BLT 2/3 is scheduled to
participate in training ex-
ercises with other Seventh
Fleet units and with units of
allied nations. Additionally,
port visits are scheduled in
Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan,
Okinawa, Singpore, Indonesia
and Korea.
