Howell and J. D. Howell, age
six and nine respectively, and
Burt Bishop, a 22-year old oil
field worker, were burned to
death three miles from here on .
the Longview road early today.
The tragedy, second of its
kind to apear here in two days,
was the result of gas leaking
from a nearby pipe line. It fill- _

ly.
Mrs. Dobson’s husband and
their other children escaped
the blazing tent in safety.
When the tent went up in
flames, the leak in the pipe line
caught fire. shooting up a pil-
lar of fire, 200 feet high. This
in turn set fire ot the nearby
forest, but Kilgore firemen
