away Mrs. Stephens proceded
with Mendelssohn’s- Wedding
March and the bridal couple
entered and took their places
at the altar. During the cre-

shows that 1133 cars were
checked. Of these 744 were all
right and won the blue tag the
first time through. A total of
250 cars, or about one out of
three, were defective. Of these
139 returned and got an o.k.
after getting repairs.
The most common defect was
in the lights, either because of
only one front light burning or
no tail light. Defective brakes
and windshield wipers were
about even for second place.

ers for the following defects:

ter of Mr. and Mrs. - J. H.
Mathis, and one of Gilmer’s
most popular and charming
young ladies. She is a graduate
of the Gilmer High School and
a former student , of Hardin
College of - Marleton, Ark.
Friendly and pleasant in dispo-
sition, gracious in manner, she
has a host of friends here that
will welcome her into the
group of young matrons.
The groom is the son of Mr.
