Chiengo Recori Herald.
Next spring the secretary of
agriculture will distribute tj oii'h-
nut the country young trees as well
as garden needs. Authority for
this new departure' was secured u
a recent session of congress and
an appropriation was made in the
budget for the coining year.
The garden seed distribution has
been the subject of no end of
fedicule and there is no doubt
that a great deal of money is wast-
ed in that way but it is neverthe-
less one of the most popular fea-
tures of our paternal government
and members of congress recognize
itsffjqjlfical importance to such an
exfjSEijit no arguments can induce
tbemplbolish or abridge it. The
distribution of trees however is
Secretary Wilson's own idea.

start artificial ones. The division
of forestry of the agricultural
